Youth Soccer!
Soccer:
The Pittsfield Family YMCA’s Youth Soccer League is an 8-week program from September 10 to November 3. This program is designed to be instructional in nature and non-competitive in practice in that the score is not kept. Children will learn fundamental soccer skills, the rules of the game and sportsmanship values by knowledgeable volunteer coaches. Register by Sept. 12.
Who:
All boys and girls, ages 3 years old through 8th grade.
Divisions:
Tappers-Pre K (Ages 3 and 4), Mini Kickers (Kindergarten-1st grade), Kickers (2nd- 3rd grades), Juniors (4th-5th grades), Seniors (6th-8th grades)
Practices and Games:
The soccer league will run from Sept. 10 to Nov. 3 for all divisions. All divisions will play on Saturdays. However, the Kickers, Juniors and Seniors will practice once during the week, and the Seniors will have a second game added during the week later in the season. Make-up games will be held on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday for all divisions. Parents will be contacted by their coaches by September 8.

Additional Information:
Children will be given a T-shirt with their team name and number on it, as well as an end-of-the-year award. It is the parents and players’ responsibility to provide shin guards.

Knowledgeable volunteer coaches are needed!
